Bit too fast for a 10g aquarium
I’ve always had problems using the Python siphon starter, but that wasn’t so with this! A few solid squeezes and it got the water running without a problem. Just make sure to read the instructions when connecting all the pieces together as the starter won’t work if it’s connected backwards. I’m using this with a sand tank, and it does a pretty good job of suctioning all the gunk off the bottom, but leaving the sand alone. That said, the tank is also 10 gallons, and this works a bit too fast to get a thorough cleaning on the bottom without taking out like half of the water. If it’s a simple water change, it takes about 2 minutes to remove 20-25%. All in all, I’ll keep using this for my 10 gallon in the mean time, but once I get a 20 or 29g setup, this will definitely be perfect for it!

Slower flow but good
Not the fastest flow in the world so it takes a while to fill my 4.5 gallon bucket, but it is fine because I use that time to clean all the mulm. Mulm is good for your fish, but looks awful. I clean mine. I do wish the large hose end came off the black coupler.

I bought this on friday night and it came on Sunday, I dont have prime. Also it's good for cleaning rocks. It's also good to use when you do a 100% water change it sucks up the water fast when not touching the rocks

Works Just like advertised. It has just enough vacuum power to pull the waste from the gravel up into the tubes. Easy to use. Just have to give it a few tries and you get the hang of it.

Great aquarium cleaning tool
Easy to use, the bulb helps set up a siphon and off you go. Pick up bottom deposits and sucks them out of the gravel. Suction strength depends on the difference in height between suction point and discharge of hose (like any siphon). The hose is not very long so if a sink or toilet is not within 5 feet or so you will need a bucket. Refill aquarium with pitcher or a bucket when done.

I really love this product! It makes life so much easier when you own a fish tank. We have an 80 gallon tank and using buckets to empty and taking fish out is very time consuming. With this we don’t even have to take the fish out. My husband is able to connect the hose with duct tape to the end and we run the water out the window. So simple. Just stick it down in the gravel and start suctioning. I highly reccomend this if you have a tank! It saves so much time

It works well. The suction seems strong enough to lift debris out, but not too strong to suck out fish from the aquarium.

Works great. Clamp fits 10 gallon tank
This siphon works really well- the pump that comes with it is great so you don't get a mouthful of fish water creating suction the old school way. The length of tubing could be a little bit longer, but should work if your tank is on top of a normal height counter top. The bracket worked perfectly with my 10 gallon aquarium. The length of the siphon is about as tall as the glass. However, the bracket did not fit my 40 gallon aquarium since the top edging is much thicker. Once you attach the siphon head and pump to the tubing it's really hard to remove, so make sure the pump is attached the right way. Since dirty water will go through the pump at some point it might be a little challenging to clean that part. Just make sure you rinse it out right after use because I can imagine it will build up over time.

Best one yet.
I’ve tried many of these gravel vacuum cleaners and this one has been by far the best. Not only is the tube nice and thick so it doesn’t bend on itself but the clip that comes at the end was perfect for keeping it all in place. For the first time I didn’t have a huge mess using one of these things. It’s great quality and packaged nicely wrapped in protective plastic. Highly recommend it!
